About the role

As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure services, including Cloud Platforms and Systems are delivered across the business in a way which will enable continuous operation and that all internal and external customers can accomplish their tasks. We are looking for someone with a keen desire to learn and grow within our company!

Responsibilities include:

• Problem solving using diagnostic tools, this includes using processes already in place and identifying new technology processes.
• Ensure all services and communication is logged in our ITSM tool
• Provide monitoring solutions across the environment that will help achieve other key accountabilities.
• Maintenance, Capacity Planning and implementation of server, storage & network environment.
• Management of the SCCM environment; Primary site servers, distribution points and endpoints.
• Management of AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Management of all HCI (VXrail) and Physical storage (Data Domain)

 About you:

• Previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a similar capacity
• Solid background of successfully provisioning, managing and maintaining of server & cloud infrastructure in large environments
• Experience working on projects to deliver technologically innovative solutions
• Experience with Windows Server variants - troubleshooting and lifecycle management
• Strong skills and experience in SCCM, Azure AD, MS Powershell and Office 365
• Cloud Management skills is essential (Azure & AWS)
• Proficient in backup solutions, Veeam
• Ability to write technical reports, process and procedures and service documentation
• AWS certified preferred
• Platform virtualisation technology experience (VMware)
• Storage solution experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to solving problems and either working as a team or autonomously.
