About the role

At Roadshow Films, the Campaign Manager sits at the heart of the (lights, camera) action! They are strong, confident leaders who are adept at setting directions and making fast, well-informed decisions. With their team leadership and stakeholder management skills, Campaign Managers are experts at keeping workstreams moving, deadlines across the team are met and proactive communications are maintained with our global and local filmmaking and studio partners.

The Campaign Manager excels in a dynamic environment, fuelled by a steady stream of new releases on both theatrical and home entertainment platforms. They are passionate about discovering and understanding new audiences, exploring innovative ways to engage them, and orchestrating a blend of Paid, Owned, and Earned media channels to launch fresh campaign strategies.

The Campaign Manager is the owner, driver and champion for their assigned titles, across Australia and New Zealand. They drive the overall marketing plan for assigned titles and manage internal and communications throughout the lifecycle from pre-planning, campaign dates, through to reporting. Fueled by a passion for nurturing talent, they supervise the daily responsibilities and growth of two direct reports, committed to elevating the team’s overall skill set

Your day could include the following:

  • Developing and writing comprehensive marketing campaign plans for Australia and New Zealand
  • Manage and maintain strong communications flows with internal and external stakeholders throughout the marketing campaign lifecycle, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
  • Lead the campaign planning process, including paid media, activations, creative, promotions, email, social, web, publicity, and events.
  • Accurately report and manage the budget in line with studio and management milestones.
  • Develop detailed post-analysis reports for Theatrical and Physical/Digital campaigns, capturing key insights and learnings.
  • Identify and implement new marketing opportunities, trends, and process improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Studios, Commercial Planning, Sales, Partnerships, and creative teams to support campaign execution.
  • Directly manage and develop the Campaign Executive & Campaign Coordinator, ensuring their growth and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee relationships with agencies and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely briefings and inductions.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Campaign Manager who is excited to be part of a dynamic and fast paced workplace, where no two campaigns are the same. You will have a proven track record of leading successful campaigns and are passionate about consumer-centric marketing, possessing the ability to navigate complex projects, driving innovation and value across the full marketing mix. Great attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and ability to manage and develop a team are key qualities that will set you apart.

In order to be successful, you will have:

  • Significant experience in marketing/communications, with a strong preference for campaign management experience
  • Proven success in leading campaign implementations and planning
  • Experience leading and developing team members
  • Proactive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional organisation, time management, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a high-volume environment is advantageous
  • A passion for Consumer-Centric Marketing
